Election of Central President (Nazim -e- Ala) of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan
Peshawar, February 2025 – Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan successfully conducted its annual election for the Central President (Nazim-e-Ala), with over 2,000 executive members (Arkan) from across the country participating in the democratic process.
Hassan Bilal Hashmi, a PhD scholar in Agriculture Sciences from Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, has been elected as the new Central President of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan. His leadership is expected to bring new vigor and strategic direction to the organization, continuing its legacy of academic and ideological guidance for students.
Additionally, Sahibzada Wasim Haider, who previously served as President of IJT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been appointed as the General Secretary of IJT Pakistan. The newly appointed secretaries for IJT Pakistan include Aftab Hussain, Naveed Nadir Magsi, and Dr. Maaz Saeed, who will assist in executing the organization’s vision and operational strategies nationwide.
For the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Asfandyar Izzat, a Pharm-D graduate from the University of Peshawar, has been appointed as the new Provincial President of IJT KP. His team includes Muhammad Anees from Mardan as the Provincial General Secretary and Hanif Ullah from Kohat as the Assistant General Secretary.
The leadership of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan remains committed to promoting academic excellence, student welfare, and ideological awareness in educational institutions across the country.
